"Adopted the name of Logic and sacrificed the soul of Bobby" - Teleport, Logic

My name is Joey Hoak, and I'm a photographer born and raised out of San Diego, California. I have a little over a decade of experience documenting life in its various forms - Live Music or events, Headshots, Lifestyle, and the occasional wedding. ​I started shooting the summer I turned 16 after meeting Logic's tour photographer after a show. After a brief conversation on how much he enjoyed it, I set it aside as a dream of mine to tour the world, documenting live music or whatever else could get in front of my lens.  It never really occurred to me that this could be a reality - chasing my dreams and creating/document art in its purest form, and presenting it to the world.​It occurred to me that as an artist, you needed a name to present your art under. After much deliberation, and a few conversations with some friends, "Snack Miller" was a nickname I earned, because at the time I dressed like Mac Miller and always had a snack. It took me too a long time to realize that it might potentially serve its purpose.​Joey "Snack" Hoak was born, and thus began the journey he's on today.​
